Pitch
A heartfelt and hilarious puppet boxing game generated immediate following with 100K Steam wishlists in 7 days following showcase debut.
A one-of-a-kind blend of arcade combat and handcrafted artistry, Felt That: Boxing introduces players to Ezra “Fuzz-E” Wright, a soft-hearted puppet who enters “The Tournament of a Million Punches” to save his childhood orphanage from demolition.
Fuzz-E, an unadoptable and unlikely hero, knows there's only one path to scaling the impossible ladder to championing the "Tournament of a Million Punches:" conquering a gauntlet of training challenges. Take control of a flimsy puppet as you're put through trials that will forge stamina, strength, determination, courage, and, dare we say, a pair of fuzzy-e balls.
Face off against unlikely opponents to fur-fill your destiny as you fight for what matters most—your home, your family, and the only place you've ever known. Fail to train hard enough, and it’s not just your dreams that crumble; the orphanage—and all the lives within—will be lost forever.
Description
Felt That: Boxing is a heartfelt and hilarious boxing game where the charm of handcrafted puppets (made through real-time digital puppeteering technology) meets the punch of arcade fighting, all of which is built to blur the line between digital and physical performance.
The game’s visual aesthetic draws from traditional puppet-making techniques, with rich stitched textures, googly-eyed characters, and detailed environments and rings. Designed for both casual players and genre fans, Felt That: Boxing balances slapstick humor with emotional depth.
In Felt That: Boxing, players engage in fast-paced 1v1 matches that emphasize timing, positioning, and dynamic, physics-based interactions. Combat is framed by colorful stages and loaded with whimsical props. All stitched together by a narrative thread that tugs at the heart and hits you in the gut.
